Prayer for a Church Renewing

PRAYER FOR THE FIRST LEGAZPI DIOCESAN PASTORAL ASSEMBLY

Loving Father, we thank you for the gift of faith
handed down by the Apostles to generations.
We thank you for the gift of the community of the faithful
that nourishes our growth in Christian life.

As we prepare for our First Diocesan Pastoral Assembly,
we beg You to grant us the grace to seek Your Son in prayer and the Eucharist,
to see His face in our neighbor, and
to proclaim the Good News of salvation to all.

Inspire us to involve ourselves more deeply and actively
in our communion of disciples, that we may fully become
a Church that strengthens families and nurtures the youth,
a Church that empowers the poor and reaches out to the lost,
a Church that cares for creation and helps build our nation,
a Church that journeys toward the fullness of Your Kingdom
by the power of the Holy Spirit,
under the protection of our Mother of Salvation,
through Christ our Lord. Amen.

sa kapangyarihan kan Espiritu Santo,
sa irarom kan pangataman kan samuyang Ina nin Kaligtasan,
